Delta now allows its passengers to track their checked bags and is adding self-service baggage kiosks at airports.  Travelers can find out the status of their bag online or at kiosks. There they can get information such as whether the bag has been loaded onto the plane.

Airlines must reimburse for lost bags, bumped flights

Air France to Operate Daily Summer San Francisco-Paris Service

From June 6 to Sept. 4, Air France will operate a daily service between San Francisco and Paris by Airbus A380.
