United Flight Attendant Uniforms To Be Designed by Cynthia Rowley

November 10, 2009

United employee uniforms will undergo a makeover as the airline partners with world-renowned fashion designer Cynthia Rowley to create new uniforms for the airport runway. Fashionable, functional uniforms will be designed for United flight attendants, pilots, customer service representatives, ramp service and maintenance employees. The new uniforms, available in mid-2011, will provide a modern, consistent look, as well as improve how they feel with increased functionality in design and more breathable and durable fabrics. New uniforms will also be more cost-effective as a result of the updated fabrics and a streamlined inventory process. This is one more step United is taking with respect to investments in the airline. Additional work continues to be done systemwide to improve aircraft interiors, on-time reliability performance and customer satisfaction. For more information, visit www.united.com.
