A villa holiday is a great way to enjoy some luxury in the sunshine without breaking the bank.  And if you’re looking to gather a group of your friends and holiday together, a villa gives you many more options than a conventional hotel break. You have additional space, more privacy and your own pool. And by splitting the cost between you, a luxury villa holiday is often surprisingly affordable.

Villas in Greece
Ancient history, breathtaking scenery, beautiful beaches and charming towns – what’s not to love about a holiday in Greece? Slip down a gear and enjoy a slower pace of life, wandering along thyme-scented paths or working on your tan on the sun deck. Or if it’s nightlife you’re after, head for one of the busier resorts.  A fishing village is a perfect destination for a holiday and Corfu’s Aghios Stefanos won’t disappoint.  With enough tavernas to make dining interesting and a handful of café-bars to kick back and chat with the locals, you’ll soon find yourself a world away from the bustle of daily life.

San Stefano House stands on a headland overlooking the harbour. This spacious villa has an upside-down design with the living areas on the first floor, taking full advantage of the magnificent views, and the sleeping areas on the raised ground floor. There’s a roof terrace to enjoy al fresco dining with panoramic views, and a private garden with built-in barbecue for more relaxed dining.  All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned and there’s a maid/cleaning service who come in three times a week to keep everything sparkling clean. Top this with a private pool, and you’ve got a recipe for a perfect holiday.  San Stefano House sleeps eight and is just a short walk to the beach at Aghios Stefanos.

Villas in Malta
Steeped in history and natural wonders, villas in Malta make the perfect base for a relaxing sunshine break. Malta’s pretty little sister island Gozo is one of the Mediterranean’s best-kept secrets. The surrounding crystal-clear waters offer world-class diving, suitable for novices and experienced divers alike. And at just 14 km long and 7 km wide, you’re never very far from the beach.
Located in Gozo’s second biggest village, Xaghra, Villa Kaccaturi is beautifully decorated in the traditional style.  With five bedrooms and four bedrooms, this spacious villa can sleep up to nine, but if that’s not enough for you, you can rent the neighbouring Villa Pergla, to accommodate an additional eight people in comfort and luxury. Both these villas enjoy a relaxed and homely atmosphere and allow larger groups to enjoy quality time together.

Villas in Majorca
The largest of the Balearic Islands, Majorca continues to be a popular destination for Brits. Whether you’re after long sandy beaches, lively resorts with waterparks, or pretty mountain villages, you’ll find them all here.  For the chance to really get away from it all, head to the Villa Moliner in Pollensa Albufera. This traditional style ‘finca’, or farmhouse, is surrounded by spacious lawns and open and covered terraces – perfect for that al fresco dining experience. The pool has a Jacuzzi and there’s even an ornate fish pond. Soak up the views of the surrounding countryside, while keeping a watchful eye out for migrating birds – this area is renowned as a twitchers’ paradise.  With four bedrooms, this villa can comfortably accommodate eight people. The spacious open plan living areas provide loads of space to either hide away and chill, or simply relax in the company of friends and family.  And the resort of Puerto Pollensa just a few minutes drive away, should you wish to sample the local restaurants or nightlife.
