October 7, 2008 New York, NY – After Steele Luxury Travel’s successful launch in January of 2008, the company, dedicated to providing luxurious international gay travel, has set out to offer four new and unique vacation experiences unlike any other offered in the gay travel market. For 2009, the four new Steele Luxury Travel vacation additions are distinct and are certainly lifetime travel experiences:
The Life Ball May 14 – May 17: Steele Luxury Travel has been selected as the exclusive provider of Life Ball packages to the US market. The Life Ball is Europe’s largest and most spectacular annual charity event dedicated to the fight against HIV and AIDS and will take place at the historic Vienna City Hall. A limited number of all inclusive packages will be sold which include a VIP and celebrity chartered premium service flight from JFK to Vienna, transfers, all meals, and access to the Life Ball and other exclusive events.
Sail Sardinia & Corsica July 18 – July 25: 18 passengers will explore Sardinia and Corsica over the course of one week in July aboard a classic yet modern 125 foot mega sailing yacht. Dates to be determined.
The Turkish Delight August 24 – August 31: The international jet-set luxury and classic wonders of Turkey are presented first hand. Steele Travelers will spend four days exploring Turkey’s culture in Istanbul following a four day visit to Bodrum, Turkey’s gay friendly chic summer coastal city; named by the New York Times as “The Next Saint Tropez”. Dates to be determined.
Mykonos Villa Island Escape August 31 – September 7: Direct from Turkey, our final summer trip begins in Mykonos, the ultimate gay destination. The traveler may also choose to connect both Turkey and Mykonos trips for a two week ultra-summer holiday. A private villa compound has been exclusively reserved for 21 Steele Travelers. The gorgeous modern Myconian villa comes complete with a personal chef, daily maid service, and a 24-hour concierge at your beckon call. Guests will be treated to a group dinner at the acclaimed “Gola Ristorante” as well as a dinner at a local Greek taverna. The villa will also be host to a Steele Luxury Travel dinner party and a cocktail soiree one evening during the 8-day vacation.
Every year over 1 million gays and lesbians travel abroad, accounting for over 10 percent of the overall travel market. The gay traveler, as with any other traveler, frequently searches for a new destination to experience. Steele Luxury Travel has actually coined the term “vacation experience” as Steele’s new trips offer once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunities that can not be found anywhere else.
This month, Steele Luxury Travel embarked on their luxurious 12-day “South African Experience” where 14 guests jetted through South Africa visiting Johannesburg, Victoria Falls in Zambia, the exclusive Sabi Sabi Game Reserve, and Capetown for a taste of South Africa’s sexy gay beaches and nightlife. Steele is currently finalizing their plans for the November Buenos Aires Tango where “Steele Travelers” will experience Buenos Aires as a local would.
Dane Steele Green, President and CEO of Steele Luxury Travel, says “Our goal is to make our traveler feel as if they are well connected in each city for the 8 days.” Each Steele vacation is paired with a “land itinerary for a local” which include unique land excursions, trendy dining, and VIP nights on the town. “We have traveled extensively to each destination and already made the connections with the right hotels, tour operators, and high-end concierge services”, says Green. For the Rio de Janeiro trips for both New Year’s and Carnival, each Steele Traveler will receive a complimentary personalized VIP card to all of the events held in Rio’s premier and most elite night club “The Week”. This is just one perk that Steele Luxury Travel offers exclusively to their travelers.
