New York: VOTE Today! // Woman Allegedly Urinates on Donald Trump’s Scotland Golf Course

April 19, 2016

The hits keep on coming for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump. But this time it wasn’t something he said on the campaign trail.

The Press and Journal reported Monday that a 61-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly urinating on the dunes at Trump’s Trump International Golf Links resort in Scotland.

The woman, identified as Rohan Beyts, was charged for for allegedly urinating in “such circumstances as to cause, or to be likely to cause, annoyance to any other person” under section 47 of Scotland’s decades-old Civic Government Act.

Staff at the resort, who reportedly captured the incident on camera, were the first to witness the woman relieving herself in the dunes before alerting the authorities.

The Ferret reported the alleged incident occurred on April 11. However Beyts denies any wrongdoing.

“There was no-one in view when I – and I am not admitting anything – sat down in the dunes which suggests that they were keeping out of sight,” Beyts old the Ferret. “I was doing nothing wrong.
Actions like this are designed to intimidate. I’ve nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about.”

However a spokeswoman for Trump’s organization called the alleged act “disgusting and shameful,” adding that it “took place in broad daylight in full view of our staff and guests by an individual who has been disruptive in the past.”

The Ferret reported Beyts has protested against the Trump golf course in the past.
If convicted of the charge Beyts could face a potential fine of more than $700.
