Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino has recently embarked on an impressive $100 million redesign of more than 3,000 rooms and suites as part of the final phase of its resort-wide transformation. Created by MGM Resorts International Design Group, the new accommodations will feature bright, natural designs with modern furnishings, emphasized by vibrant colors and bold statement pieces meant to exude a confident and inviting atmosphere.
The remodel includes three new guestroom collections:
Resort Collection: The Resort King will welcome guests with a refreshing cobalt and white color scheme, while Resort Queen rooms will feature either a warm ruby and latte combination or rich lavender and mocha pairing. All beds in the Resort Collection are framed by a mural onyx-inspired wall, with every room containing a fully stocked minibar, Keurig coffee machine and a spacious desk for personal or business use.
Suite Collection: The Suite Collection offers additional space with one- and two-bedroom suites ideal for entertaining friends or meeting with coworkers. Rich jewel tone fabrics accented by natural wood and stone highlights multiple seating and dining areas, with all suites featuring a large table for guests to gather and socialize for business or for pleasure.
Luxury Collection: Ultimate indulgence defines the Luxury Collection, as the glamorous one- to four-bedroom suites showcase newly designed décor complemented by posh amenities such as floor-to-ceiling windows and fully equipped dining and bar areas.
A portion of the redesigned rooms and suites are available now, with the completion of the project expected in spring 2016.
