First of all, I would like to apologize for not posting any sooner. I can not describe to you how “out-of-this-world” The Life Ball has been. For the First time in my life, I have completely shut off my computers and blackberry. Yes, it was that amazing. Words can not describe. The event made me laugh, cry, and party like a true animal. Is everyone coming back next year?, Yes, they already handed me their credit cards with the four digits on the front. Next year, we will be producing this event on a larger scale and bringing all of you. This was the best party of my life and I am sure it is the best in the world. Now, lets recap:
Pre Departure Party at The Red Bull Space:
Yes, we all love Vodka and Red Bull- the elixir of nightlife. However, do we really like Red Bull as a sole spirit? Not ReaLLY– There was no vodka to accompany our Red Bull– However, the energy in the room kept us going.
Amanda Lepore walks in looking fabulous as ever!!! Dressed in a black pleather outfit with biker sunglasses. Amanda receives a 
muffled applause from the crowd. Next, Lydia Hearst walks in with PR folks on hand– Sporting a HUGGGEE LV multi brushed bag. The director of the film “The Last International playboy” arrives as well.
Superstar Codie arrives with a full camera crew on hand. -Richie Rich, arrives bubbling over. (yet no champagne was to be found)
Off we go; on the three buses to JFK airport!! The energy starts to stir.
THE AIRPORT
The traffic was horrible. 1.5 hours to JFK. Upon check in, it was a show at JFK’s Terminal 1. Celebrities including Katie Perry, Fran Drescher, Ivanna Trump all show up. Ivana trump walks in to the terminal- sunglasses on- double breasted suit. She didn’t seem to have any luggage. Through the sliding doors, in comes two full carts of Louis Vuitton trunks and luggage– all for Ivanna. I went up to her and asked “So, is your luggage coming to Vienna”. 
Overzealously, she responded “Yes, I coming to Life Ball– zen, I go to Cannes, and visit boyfriend in 3 houses in Euuurrope.” We took a picture.
THE FLIGHT
We all proceeded to the business class lounge and started drinking
some wine and cocktails. An hour later, we were boarding the flight. The GORGEOUS in-flight crew welcomed us with gifts, smiles, and a bit of attitude. Still, no alcochol. I was seated next to some fantastic people, especially this cute little one in the picture to the right.
After take off, the crowd went wild! The crew started walking around passing delicious appetizers and finally alcohol!!! Personal fashion photo shoots have begun in the aisles. Bitchy faces included. My god, this is fabulous.. Even though all of New York should be at Lorenzo’s birthday party on Saturday night; the most fabulous seem to be partying in the aisles.
It is now 3:00am NY time, passengers are hanging form the overhead compartments– Red Bull-Vodka spilling from the overhead air vents. All of a sudden, I, Dane Steele Green, decided to become an Austrian Airlines In-Flight attendant and is transformed into serving passengers delicious mixed cocktails– It was a sight.
Finally, the xanax kicked in and it was time for sleep for two hours before landing. An hour into
my “BEAUTY REST”, I was awoken by two supermodels screaming at each other how they are r
uining each other’s lives. Apparently, the African American supermodel lost her jacket, passport and credit cards– and of course 98% of her sanity. She blamed the closest caucasian supermodel for this. This is no lie. The entire plane got involved in the scuffle as the crew began serving freshly cooked on-board eggs. The end result– during her drunken stuper, she wound up leaving her items in the front galley of the First Class cabin. Look at the beautiful flight attendants that catered to our EVERY need 😉
