There are few things we like as much as shopping and one is traveling. Uncovering deals at luxury resorts at the height of vacation season isn’t easy. As in retail, hotels are eager to unload excess inventory.
It’s not often that one comes accross a list of IT-destinations on sale. As a matter of fact, most of these destinations are officially completely sold out over New Years. Just leave it to our resident spies to uncover such a coveted list of properties on sale.
At Casa de Campo, for example, a stay from December 26 to January 2 in the two bedroom elite suite is reduced to $2100 a night (plus taxes and service fees) from almost $2800 a night. Elite balcony rooms for the same dates are marked down to about $715 (plus taxes and service fees) from $955 a night.
Over at the Gansevoort, in the Dominican Republic, a stay in the oceanfront three bedroom suite from December 26 to January 2, is marked down to just over $2900 (plus taxes and service fees) from nearly $4000. The two bedroom loft suite is $2220 (plus taxes and service fees) from almost $3000. Andaz Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica, Grand Velas in Rivera Maya and personal favorite, Nizuc, in Cancun, also have a few discounted suites that are priced similarly to the other examples.
To sweeten the deal, some properties are even offering two coach airline tickets when you complete your booking. That alone can be worth thousands, considering the current price of airline tickets to warm weather destinations. For more information about these offers email [email protected].
