Delta Upgrades Food Choices in Time for Summer Travel

May 10, 2011
Delta Air Lines is adding new selections to the EATS food-for-sale menu, upgrading spirits offered and offering customers the opportunity to donate to the American Cancer Society with their onboard purchases. The new menu includes a kids’ plate with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread. Delta is also adding Ben and Jerry’s ice cream and Margaritaville Margarita mix.

These new items complement for-purchase food options Delta offers customers through the EATS menu. Refreshed EATS items onboard this summer for morning flights include a breakfast BLT wrap, snack bar and yogurt, and a fruit and cheese plate. During lunch and dinnertime flights, customers can choose from a chicken salad sandwich, black forest turkey sliders, and a fruit and cheese plate.

Also available for sale onboard Delta flights are Travel Treats and Flight Delights snack boxes, Pringles, M&M’s and Bentley’s Popcorn. As part of its partnership with the American Cancer Society, Delta will donate $1 to help find a cure for cancer for every Flight Delights snack box sold during the month of May.
