Continental Airlines has announced it will resume daily, non-stop seasonal service between its New York hub at Newark Liberty International Airport and Athens, Greece, effective May 2, 2009 (eastbound). The service will operate through Sept. 7, 2009 (eastbound). The flights will depart New York Liberty daily at 5:30 p.m., arriving in Athens at 10:20 a.m. the following day. The return flights will depart Athens daily at 12:00 p.m., arriving at New York Liberty at 4:10 p.m. the same day. Continental inaugurated its New York-Athens service in June 2007.
