Porter Airlines is offering a guarantee that baggage will be delivered within 30 minute of aircraft arriving at gates. If it doesn’t, the carrier will provide travelers with $25 vouchers that may be used toward future travel.
Effective August 1,
If baggage doesn’t arrive within 30 minutes, passengers may fill out a report with the Porter agent at baggage claim.
Baggage fees for travel between the U.S. and Canada are now $25 for the first bag, $35 for the second and $100 for third and all additional bags.
For inter-Canada flights, the first bag is free and the second is $20. Cost rises to $100 for third bags and more.
Domestic Canada checked baggage fees remain complimentary for the first bag and $20 for the second bag, but increasing to $100 for the third bag and each subsequent bag.
